Town of Windsor Thanks Neighboring Towns For Lending Plow Trucks – WICZ

“The Town of Windsor is grateful to everyone who has helped during this storm. The loss of our building along with all of our trucks has been devastating. We are fortunate to live in the best area with the best people who reach out to assist in a time of need. The highway department personnel were able to keep roads open and passable using borrowed equipment from generous towns. Our crews along with Kirkwood trucks plowed over 700 miles of road for 17 plus hours. Mike Kithcart and his men are in my opinion some of the best. To all fire departments who responded We thank you, I also would like to thank Jason Garner, Broome Emergency Services who were on the scene to offer help. There will be more challenges to face but we will get through this.”
