Students and staff of Fort Concho Elementary got to take a closer look under the hood of a real monster truck.
SAN ANGELO, Texas — Fort Concho Elementary was in for a big surprise Thursday from No Limits Monster Trucks.
Students and staff gathered to hear all about what goes on when it comes to changing tires and filling up their trucks with fuel for a big show. While getting an exclusive look at these 12,000 pound trucks, these kids also learned the importance of safety while having fun.
“And I go through the audience and I just talk with the little kids and enjoy and see the excitement and just the wonder, man, and awes of seeing a 12,000 pound machine flying through the air, it’s just amazing. Kind of a dream come true as a kid playing in the sandbox,” event coordinator Timothy Howard explained.
In addition to seeing these trucks up-close, Howard and his team were able to give each and every student a ticket to the show.
No Limits Monster Trucks is a family-friendly event and will be held on Saturday, March 12, at Foster Communications Coliseum. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and tickets can be purchased through StubWire.com.
